It’s HIGHLY SUGGESTED TO BOOK 2 APPOINTMENTS FOR ANY DETAILED PIECE. MANY sessions can go into a detailed piece. THIS SHOWS AN ALL DAY SESSION next to some healed work on the far side. This is ultimate dedication during the session as well: only a couple 5 minutes breaks for bodily functions in the day. So that being said, expect to get a little less done in an all day session if you’d like longer breaks. Everyone is human and not just a canvas so it’s okay!

Dark Souls inspired tattoo done in 4 sessions. Upper arm. First 3 were All day sessions. Last session was 5 hours.

Traditional MOM tattoo done in 3 sessions. Rib piece. First session was 7 hours. Second was 5 1/2 hours. 3rd was 3 1/2 hours. Everything is healed below the rose in the last picture. Cover-up area could be blended out more with a touch up if client desired. The ribs is also a very painful and stretchy area that usually takes longer to tattoo compared to other areas.

Getting a large tattoo that’s a true piece of artwork takes dedication to the craft from both parties involved. It usually does NOT happen in 1 or 2 or even 3 sessions if it is wrapping around the body. Holly has completed many large scale pieces and full sleeves (about 50-120+ hours each) in the 14 years of professionally tattooing.

Plan in advance to get tattooed in stages over the coarse of the year or 2 years for Sleeves & Full Back pieces realistically. Split up in payments.
